PROSTATE CANCER is the second most common cancerous tumor worldwide and is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related mortality among men. The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system that surrounds the urethra just below the bladder. It is a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the prostate.
It is a localized cancer as the cancer spread in one part of the prostate.
Stage IIA is the cancer found on one side of the prostate and stage IIB is the cancer found in both sides of the prostate..
It is known as locally advanced prostate cancer that has spread outside the prostate into local tissue, such as the seminal vesicles.
The tumor may have spread to nearby lymph nodes, but it has not spread to other parts of the body.
